Reminder on "How To Get Help" from the SOAEP IT Group

HTML clipboard

How-to get help:

a. For all lecture-related video problems during lecture times, please
login to and click on Live Support. This
will connect you directly to the video engineer in your class lecture.
Please do not use the live lecture chat rooms for technical problems. Those chat rooms are reserved for class instruction, and they may be unreliable if we are experiencing a network outage or need to reboot a server.

b. Outside of lecture times, visit http://Helpdesk.Schoolofaccounting.Com and submit a support ticket. Help Desk hours are published on the IT Department page of http://Help.SchoolOfAccounting.Com. On Saturdays, the staff responds to support requests submitted before 2:00 p.m. The School of Accounting Executive Programs Help Desk is staffed by 3 full-time professionals dedicated to helping only School of Accounting Executive students.

c. Some technical problems with Saturday videos are inevitable. For
the video conferences, we have redundant camera equipment, redundant
servers, and even redundant delivery services. However, the internet is such that it can be adversely affected at any time by power outages, construction work, severe weather, and general failures in the wide-area network infrastructure. So please be understanding if there is a technical
problem. The cause of the problem is probably beyond our control. But do
visit and click on Live Support
during lecture times to find out exactly what is happening in the event of any technical issues.

d. Make sure that you follow our general news announcements regarding Saturday lectures. You can be notified of important updates very quickly by email, Twitter, Facebook, or by your favorite instant messenger. You can also go directly to http://News.SchoolOfAccounting.Com to sign up for any announcement we may make. We are phasing out posting general
announcements in eCollege, so be sure to visit and sign up to follow our various news and announcement feeds.
